Material Handler

Job Description:

The Material Handler is responsible for assisting all departments with the safe handling, loading, unloading, and staging of materials needed for production.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Safely perform all material handling tasks

- Operate forklifts and cranes in a safe and efficient manner

- Assist in the parts room with pulling and packaging items for shipping

- Deliver parts and materials to workstations as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment for self and coworkers

- Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the Inventory Control Supervisor

Education and Skills:

- Forklift operation experience preferred

- Parts pulling and material handling experience

- Crane operation experience

- Ability to lift 20+ pounds

Reporting Relationship:

- Reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor

- No direct reports
