Would you like to join our Customer Care Development team to contribute to the enhancement of applications that improve the Care teams’ customer service operations? Your Role
You would join a team, working on our global logistics applications, which aggregate information from several transport management systems into a dashboard to enable the Customer Care Operators to proactively monitor customers’ shipments. As a Software Engineer (m/f/d), you will design and implement processes in Java following the principles of agile software development to create innovative solutions. You will be in close contact with our business colleagues and contribute continuously to system optimization. Your Responsibilities
Your specific task will be to shape the underlying business processes from analysis through conception to implementation in co-operation with business stakeholders.
You are guided by the agile manifesto to develop our global business processes.
You actively participate in design discussions and engage in the continuous optimization and stabilization of our existing processes.
You have an impact on the product, the tools and methods we are currently using. In doing so, you always stick to the principles and practices of clean code development.
You evaluate new technologies and provide advice and suggestions to your colleagues.
Your Skills and Experiences
Work experience as a Full stack Java Developer or similar role.
Expertise in agile software development in distributed teams, ideally with previous experience of working with Kanban.
Extensive knowledge of current Java Enterprise technologies: Java 8, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, JUnit.
Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as Intellij, Git, Maven, Docker, process tools such as Jira and build pipelines (Jenkins)
Good knowledge of front-end technologies. Required: Javascript, HTML, CSS. Typescript and Angular or similar frameworks is a plus.
Independent worker who uses own initiative
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field preferable but not essential.
