Registered Nurse Unit Manager

We are nursing facility located conveniently in Minneapolis, and seeking to add a Registered Nurse Facility unit manager to our team. This person will work a set schedule every two weeks and be a part of our management team within the facility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Complete all necessary reports as required by the Director of Nursing.

• Report any problems that arise to the Director of Nursing and aide in developing/implementing a proper care plan.

• Provide direct care as needed.

• Review nurse's notes to make sure proper documentation is maintained related to treatment.

• Make rounds with physicians as needed and ensure proper records are maintained.

• Supervise the staff on unit to ensure proper delivery of care.

• Make sure all physicians are informed of changes in resident's condition and follow orders as directed.

• Assist nursing staff with the admission process and review that all assessments are complete and accurate.

Qualifications:

• MN RN license

• 2 years LTC experience

• 2 years of supervisory experience
