We are currently expanding our team with dedicated New Home Sales Counselors who specialize in providing an unparalleled home buying experience for our clients. Our New Home Sales Counselors play a critical role at UnionMain Homes, offering initial introductions to our communities and model homes while guiding clients through purchasing a prebuilt "move-in ready" home or assisting them in designing their unique residence.

New Home Sales Counselor Objectives and Responsibilities:

- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the new home sales industry, local property trends, and maintain connections with realtors.
- Foster strong partnerships with key realtor brokerages.
- Build a referral network among UnionMain Homes customers, as well as their friends and family interested in buying a new home.
- Meet or exceed company sales and closing targets.
- Engage prospective buyers, understanding their housing needs and preferences.
- Convert community visitors into buyers to achieve company sales objectives.
- Promptly follow up with all potential buyers.
- Highlight the advantages of using our preferred lender to reach capture rate goals.
- Stay informed about all sub-market competitors.
- Assist buyers throughout the design, loan approval, construction process, ensuring timely completion; coordinate appointments as necessary.
- Learn and communicate effectively about UnionMain Homes communities, products, promotions, purchase agreements, and processes.
- Gain detailed knowledge of house features, pricing options at the design center; clearly convey this information to customers
- Utilize all UMH sales technology including automated contracts & customer management software
- Install & maintain necessary on-site signage (e.g., lot signs).

Qualifications:

1+ years’ proven success in new or existing home sales (or related field).
Entrepreneurial spirit focused on customer satisfaction
Maintain model homes & communities to high standards
Proficient demonstration skills for product displays & superior customer service techniques
Strong verbal/written communication skills adaptable across different styles projecting positive company image
Valid driver's license/insurance required for business travel
Computer literacy (Brix preferred)
Sales office environment typical work setting; active role requiring travel & physical activity

Work involves fast-paced settings subject to frequent schedule adjustments on short notice,
Occasional lifting up 20 pounds expected,
Variable work hours including weekends
