Texas Mobile Radiology is seeking qualified Radiographers to help provide services within various nearby locations. Responsibilities/Competencies:

Technical Skills:
-Perform duties consistent with quality based diagnostic imaging professional.

-Perform diagnostic level medical imaging and transmit digital images to Radiologist for interpretation using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiology equipment.

-Preform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to Cardiologist for interpretation.

-Ensures operation of imaging equipment following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; maintaining equipment inventories and assisting leadership with evaluating new equipment and imaging techniques.

-Process exams through digital data devices, (ie. no chemical processing is required).

-Maintain professional license and technical knowledge to maintain standard CEU requirements.

-Maintain equipment cleanliness and maintenance schedule through organizational leadership and other responsibilities including: scanning, filing, faxing, photocopying, and mailings.
-Document patient care services as required.

Patient Care:
-Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment; answering questions and demonstrate committed care and compassion for others.
-Prepare patient for diagnostic exam, perform appropriate positioning of patient; adjusting immobilization devices and equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to acquire diagnostic images.

-Maintain needed medical supply inventory; anticipate needed supplies; verify receipt of supplies.

Safety Compliance:
-Minimize radiation (as applicable) to patient and staff by practicing ALARA radiation protection techniques and use of beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.

-Maintains safe and clean working environment as required by state and local regulatory agencies.

-Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Communication:

-Demonstrate professional behavior and willingness to grow personally and professionally.
-Communicate efficiently and perform professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
-Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

-Maintain professionalism within all exposed environments (ALs, nursing facilities, patient's home, clinics).

Required:
-Active regulatory licensing
-New graduates ARE hire eligible (must complete licensing requirements within regulatory allotted time).

-Valid Driver’s License
-State licenses/ARRT Certification (xray)

Limited practice professionals:
*LMRT is not supported for mobile imaging environments within State of Texas.*
