Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Finance Control and Accounting Officer to join our team in Germany. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing comprehensive financial analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Management:

- Oversee and manage daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.

- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

- Accounting Duties:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts.

- Compliance and Auditing:

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

- Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits.

- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

- Financial Analysis:

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.

- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

- Support strategic decision-making with detailed financial analysis.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (eg, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.

- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards in Germany.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Fluency in German and English is required.
