About the role:

An independent school in Haringey is searching for a dedicated German Teacher to join their modern foreign language department, starting asap, for a temporary duration. The right candidate will be able to teach German to key stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging German Teacher lessons, covering grammar, vocabulary, and cultural topics.
• Prepare students for assessments.
• Develop students’ language skills and intercultural understanding.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to the development of the German curriculum and resources.
• Organise and lead German related extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a specialism in German.
• Proven experience in teaching German at secondary level.
• Strong language skills and a passion for German language and culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
