About the Role

A progressive Independent school in Harrow requires a skilled Mathematics Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary period. You will deliver engaging mathematics lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
• Develop students' mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of mathematics resources.
• Organise and potentially lead mathematics-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.
• Strong mathematical skills and knowledge.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
