About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Head of Direct Media Buying to lead and scale the company’s digital acquisition strategy. In this strategic leadership role, you will drive direct traffic deals, manage multi-million-pound ad budgets, and guide a team of expert media buyers toward performance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a scalable direct media buying strategy focused on high-volume traffic acquisition.

Identify, negotiate, and secure direct advertising deals (banners, native ads, email drops) with publishers and networks.

Manage and optimize a monthly ad budget exceeding £1M, ensuring a positive ROI.

Build and maintain strong relationships with traffic providers, DSPs, and publishers.

Oversee campaign performance, conversion tracking, and fraud prevention.

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of media buyers.

    Qualifications

    5+ years of experience in digital media buying, preferably in performance-driven industries such as dating, e-commerce, or gaming.

    Strong negotiation skills and an existing network of direct traffic partners.

    Proven success in managing large-scale advertising budgets (£500K+ per month).

    Deep understanding of programmatic buying, RTB platforms, and direct publisher deals.

    Analytical and data-driven mindset with expertise in tracking, CRO, and fraud mitigation.
