About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, following the school's curriculum.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities, utilizing a variety of teaching resources and strategies.
• Assess student progress through essays, source analysis, presentations, and class participation, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of teaching resources and schemes of work within the History department.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History.
• A good understanding of the secondary history curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engageand inspire students. 
• A passion for history and the ability to foster critical thinking and analytical skills.
