About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and communicative French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans that incorporate cultural elements, authentic resources, and cater to a range of learning styles.
• Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Modern Foreign Languages (French).
• Native or near-native fluency in French.
• A good understanding of the secondary MFL curriculum and effective language teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students' interest in French.
• A passion for the French language and culture and the ability to bring it to life for learners.
