Role Overview:

As a KS2 Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will play an integral role in delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences for students in Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11). You will be provided with comprehensive support and guidance throughout your induction year and beyond, ensuring you develop into an outstanding teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students in Key Stage 2

Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students

Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback

Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the learning experience

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff, promoting a positive school community

Participate in professional development opportunities, including ECT support and training

    Person Specification:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to complete by September 2025

    A genuine passion for teaching and working with children

    Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment practices

    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire children

    Creative, adaptable, and committed to professional development

    A proactive approach to teaching with a focus on high standards of learning and behaviour

    A dedication to the safeguarding and welfare of children
