About the Role

An Outstanding boys secondary school in Brent seeks a passionate Drama Teacher to join their performing arts department from September. The role involves delivering engaging drama lessons across all key stages, directing school productions, and fostering students' creative expression. We are looking for a skilled Drama Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and creative drama lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Direct and produce school plays and performances.
  • Develop students' dramatic skills and creative expression.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the drama curriculum.
  • Organise and lead drama-related extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Drama.
  • Proven experience in teaching drama at secondary level, including A-Level.
  • Strong knowledge of dramatic techniques and theatre production.
  • Excellent communication and performance skills.
