Overview:
Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Project Management Consultant to join their Engineering & Construction (E&C) Business Unit in Juno Beach, FL. This role involves managing multiple Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from pre-construction to the point of construction. If you have a knack for coordinating complex projects and ensuring all resources are aligned to meet project schedules, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal and external resources for project development, engineering, estimating, supply chain, scheduling, and construction activities.
• Ensure all project variables are identified and incorporated, including environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, and interconnection.
• Develop and optimize the projects technical scope to improve technical and financial feasibility.
• Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations.
• Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement requirements.
• Present and manage financial models through executive budget approvals.
• Source, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts for critical services.
• Regularly present project progress, issues, and risk mitigation to various levels of management.
• Ensure projects transitioning to the construction stage have an executable construction plan.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance/Accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in related engineering and construction of renewable energy projects.
• Excellent project management, communication, financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with electricity markets, renewables, and/or battery projects is a plus.
• PMP Certification and advanced Excel skills are preferred.
