Join a dynamic and innovative team at one of Kansas City's premier eye care practices! We seek a Clinical Team Lead to supervise our dedicated Clinical Assistant team, delivering exceptional patient care and leading a thriving work culture. This leadership role entails guiding a team of 7-8 staff members (5-6 on any given day) across our Olathe and Lenexa locations. While this is primarily a senior position overseeing clinical operations, you will be pivotal in fostering an environment of excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-focused care.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Experience and Leadership: Proven experience in optometry or ophthalmology; ability to lead by example and coach your team effectively.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Administrative Excellence: Competence in managing necessary administrative tasks, including reports and team schedules.
- Patient-Centric Mindset: A passion for delivering outstanding patient experiences while maintaining accountability for team performance and business goals.
- Technological Proficiency: Comfortable with computers and willingness to adopt new technologies.
- Sales Orientation: Outgoing personality with a focus on sales and customer service; previous experience in sales or food service is preferred.
We value flexibility and are open to customizing your work schedule based on team success and individual preferences, typically offering both a 4-day workweek or a standard 5-day workweek option. This hourly position offers a salary range of $37,200 to $52,000 (equivalent to $17.88 to $25 per hour), with opportunities for monthly bonuses based on production targets. As a Clinical Team Lead, you will be called to develop your team's skills, conduct regular performance evaluations, and engage in strategic leadership efforts.
