The Role: We are seeking a Head of Marketing who is ready to drive our marketing strategy and elevate our brand presence in the sports industry. This is a unique opportunity for a tenacious marketer with a background in SaaS start-ups, who possesses a deep understanding of generating high-quality leads and executing impactful marketing campaigns. A passion for sports, particularly football or soccer, will be a significant advantage as you help us connect with our audience. You’re someone who wants to pioneer a leading-edge computer vision AI solution to positively disrupt the sports tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that balances inbound and outbound efforts to generate high-quality leads for our sales team.
- Experience developing GTMs for AI is a plus, especially computer vision AI.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI.
- Build and manage a marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity.
- Utilize content marketing, social media, email campaigns, and events to engage our target audience and build brand awareness.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure alignment on lead generation goals and conversion strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Maintain Kognia's brand voice and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a marketing leadership role within a SaaS start-up environment.
- Strong understanding of inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
- Metrics Driven and process oriented
- Previous exposure to or a genuine passion for the sports industry, with a focus on football/soccer being a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
- A proactive, self-starter mentality with a tenacity to overcome challenges.
- Experience in using marketing automation tools and CRM systems is preferred.
