The Greenbone vulnerability scanning engine thrives on the latest vulnerability checks, which we develop daily in a large team. We are looking for further reinforcement, especially with a focus on Microsoft Windows. Experience in network protocols, Linux / UNIX or Windows experience and interest in the field of IT Security are the perfect prerequisites.

Welche Aufgaben erwarten dich

• Develop automated tests to determine the compliance of systems and servers to security configuration standards such as those from the Center for Internet Security Benchmarks.
• Build and configure test environments according to established security standards for the purpose of Compliance test development
• Document development and test results in order to achieve CIS certification for Compliance scans across many platforms and technologies.
• Daily work includes development for the automation of secure configuration tests, including a focus on test lab validation and research into the cybersecurity recommendation material and optimal implementation.

Was solltest du mitbringen?

• Several years of experience in one or more programming or scripting languages
• Familiarity with Cybersecurity configuration hardening standards such as from BSI, DISA, or CIS. Examples include IT Grundschutz, DISA STIGs, and CIS Benchmarks
• You are able to build and configure test environments that comply to Cybersecurity configuration standards
• You are a team player that enjoys collaborating with a highly professional, international team.
• You are experienced with administration of a variety of servers, systems, and software.
• You feel comfortable operating in Linux and Windows environments and using git.
• You enjoy coding, researching security topics, and developing automation
• English written communication is not a hurdle for you
• You are communicative, open and eager to learn
• You have a passion for Cybersecurity and working with various technologies
• You are motivated by complex and demanding tasks
• You want to change and help shape software and processes regarding vulnerability detection, automation, and other security topics
