Music Teacher

We are looking for a Music Teacher for a Bilingual School based in Shenzhen. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

About the school

Bilingual school based in Shenzhens Nanshan district. It is the first K9 bilingual IB School established by an education group headquartered in Hong Kong. The school integrates two independent yet complementary educational philosophies. It offers immersive bilingual education - one teacher, one language. All students will be taught by two class teachers, one specializing in Mandarin Chinese and the other in English.

Job responsibilities

• Provide a well-rounded Music education to primary and middle school students (Grade 1 to Grade 9) in an IB framework
• Prepare lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaborate with fellow co-teachers to enhance and refine the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Any other related duties assigned by the school

Job Requirements

• At least Bachelors Degree
• Past teaching experience in the relevant subject
• Willingness or demonstrated track record in learning and practicing new pedagogy

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 8,000 to 10,000 RMB
