English Teacher

We are looking for English Teachers for a Bilingual school based in Cixi, Ningbo. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

About the school

Bilingual school based in Cixi, Ningbo serves as a day and boarding school for approximately 3500 enrolled students, aged 6 to 12 on average. The program utilizes a co-teacher arrangement and implements western education practices and methodologies.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English to primary school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Teaching week of 18 classes or less (with 40 min a class)

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years relevant teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary is 25,000 and above RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 3,500 RMB or fully furnished apartment on campus
