Volunteer Social Media Manager for NGO

This is an unpaid volunteer role.
Leb Bunt e.V., a German non-profit, promotes intercultural togetherness and elderly care.

Tasks

• Topic and editorial planning in collaboration with the team.
• Topic research, creation of social media posts and blog posts (mainly about our concept, activities and publications as well as future topics).
• Direct coordination with the team, advising on content and trends.
• Answering user queries on the social channels we use including necessary research as well as direct coordination with the project managers.

Requirements

• Time commitment: Approximately 3-4 hours/week for a minimum of 6 months.
• Very good communication skills as well as a good feel for social issues and an understanding of target groups.
• Basic experience in social media, community management or editorial work.
• Cultural and social sensitivity as well as empathy.
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of German.
