Tech Lead Android Developer (m/f/d)

Tasks

  • As the team technical lead, oversee team requirements, facilitate collaboration across different domains, support task breakdown, and ensure effective decision-making through technical mediation.
  • Design and build advanced applications and frameworks for Android
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Design and shape our Audio app store and our white label application to offer an excellent user experience and customisation capabilities to our customers
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Design and develop robust software with a focus on testability and reliability
  • Coaching and inspiring younger colleague

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Android development with previous experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Deep knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and Reactive programming paradigms
  • Solid understanding of Architectural Models and Design Patterns
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
  • A deep appreciation of well-crafted UIs, beautifully designed products and frictionless user experiences
  • Understanding of Google’s Material design principles and interface guidelines
  • Share industry best practices of good SW craft
  • Ability to understand business requirements and perform decomposition of a complex feature
  • Experience with CI/CD for mobile
  • Experience with multi-module applications and large-scale codebases

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of backend technologies and how they integrate with mobile systems
  • Experience in development of mobile white label solutions Previous experience with wearables, IoT devices and Bluetooth
  • Effective use of Design tooling: FIGMA
