Stantec is a global engineering and design firm that provides innovative solutions to complex challenges facing communities around the world. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Administrator (Site) to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
As a Contract Administrator , you will play a critical role in managing and administering contracts for our projects in the region. You will be responsible for ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, monitoring project progress and costs, and resolving any disputes that may arise. You will work closely with our project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand project contracts and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions
- Prepare and issue contract documents, including change orders and amendments
- Monitor project progress and costs, and provide regular updates to project managers
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to contracts
- Act as the main point of contact for all contract-related matters with project stakeholders
- Review and approve invoices and payments from contractors
- Resolve any disputes or claims related to contracts in a timely and effective manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation
- Provide support and guidance to project teams on contract-related matters
- Participate in contract negotiations with clients and contractors as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- 15 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
- Strong knowledge of contract management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
