We are a dynamic and innovative IT company committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. We are seeking a talented and experienced Windows Systems Administrator with a strong background in managing Windows-based environments. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the company’s systems and network infrastructure, including workstations, servers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as software installations, updates, and patches.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Windows-based infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to address issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support new technologies aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive transition plan, ensuring a smooth transfer of responsibilities and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure a seamless integration of systems, processes, and data.
  • Infrastructure Management:
  • Design, implement, and manage Windows-based infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, and network components.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement proactive measures to enhance overall efficiency and reliability.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to Windows systems and data security.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related work experience.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute technology projects, such as system upgrades and implementation of policy-based security infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, both on-site and remote, and ensure prompt resolution of IT-related problems.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting guides, and asset tracking. Business continuity plans to minimize disruptions in the event of system failures or disasters.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux(a plus) operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DC user management and policy management
  • Proficiency in planning, implementing, and managing cloud/virtualized technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, SharePoint, etc.).
  • SQL Server Administration a huge plus
  • Experience with network infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and backup solutions.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and tools for system hardening.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and management; experience at building effective working relationships throughout the organization.
  • Proactive, self-starter able to jump in, ramp-up without a lot of oversight and minimal direction.
  • Must have ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet organizational goals
  • Accepts accountability.
