Position: Customer Support Representative (German)

Location: Hybrid, Qormi, Malta (office) AND remote from anywhere in Malta

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to customer inquiries via email on all topics related to the online marketplace, by maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards the customers
• Follow communication procedures and policies
• Evaluate and make decisions in accordance with defined policies and guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native / fluent in German both verbal and written. Good command in English
• Flexible and able to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment
• Conscientious and reliable
• Attention to detail
• Empathic with genuine desire to help
• Ideally interested in marketplaces, shared economy and new technologies
• Previous experience in content moderation, customer care and/or online business will be considered as an advantage.

• Flight cost reimbursement of up to €200, after the employee has passed their 6 month probationary period, the flight receipt will need to be provided at the start of their employment. Client will pay 5 days of accommodation in a hotel, which can be extended further upon authorisation, if the employee can’t find accommodation within the first 5 days.
• Rotational shifts are from 7am to 3.30pm or 3.30pm to midnight, however these times could also vary if cover is required during other periods between 7am and midnight, eg 11am to 7.30pm, with two days off during the week. 4.7. During the training period in the office, the candidates will work Monday to Friday, morning shift 7:00am to 3:30pm. twice yearly performance bonus, private health cover, discount gym membership, free transport to office, home working allowance.
