IT Support Engineer

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in network operations or a related field
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in managing and troubleshooting MikroTik routers.
• Strong expertise in Network monitoring tools.
• Experience with various ISPs and understanding of different networking technologies and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with various departments and external providers.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting issues with various Internet Service Providers, ensuring consistent connectivity and resolving service interruptions swiftly.
• Continuously oversee network systems to detect anomalies or performance issues.
• Manage and configure MikroTik routers, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, to optimize network performance and security.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of processes, system configurations, and network settings to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
• Respond to, investigate, and resolve IT complaints, ensuring timely and effective solutions to technical problems encountered by end-users.
• Oversee the incident management process, including monitoring, reporting, and resolving incidents while minimizing impact on business operations.
• Coordinate with multiple ISPs to follow up on pending issues, drive resolution, and negotiate timely outcomes to meet business needs.
• Continuously assess system performance, recommend improvements, and implement enhancements to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Identification of blindspots and handover setting from various wifi Bssid
• Collaboration with multidimension teams to assess their needs and optimise their network throughput.
