Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Free State
Reports to: National Sales Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales across the Free State, The ideal candidate must be fluent in both Afrikaans and English, with a proven track record in sales to retailers in the hardware industry, specifically plumbing. This role requires a dynamic leader who is capable of managing key accounts, developing sales strategies, and driving business growth within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve regional sales targets and business objectives.
- Actively manage and grow existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and key stakeholders in the hardware and plumbing industries.
- Customer Engagement:
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the National Sales Manager.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Education:
- A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales within the hardware or plumbing industry.
- Proven experience selling to retailers.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English is essential.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively within the regions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Remuneration:
A market-related package, including base salary, commission, and benefits, will be offered to the successful candidate.
