Service Now Architect
Service Description/Module - Onboarding
Location - San Antonio TX or Plano TX
Duration - 6 months +
Rate - $60 to 63 CTC per hour
Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design:
Lead the design and development of complex ServiceNow solutions for employee onboarding, including integration with HR systems, third-party applications, and other enterprise systems.
Define and document technical specifications, data models, and integration points for ServiceNow Onboarding implementations.
Ensure the technical feasibility and scalability of proposed solutions, considering performance, security, and maintainability.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow architecture blueprints and roadmaps.
Onboarding Process Optimization:
Collaborate with business stakeholders, HR professionals, and IT teams to understand and analyze onboarding processes.
Identify and recommend innovative solutions to improve onboarding efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience.
Leverage ServiceNow capabilities, including workflows, integrations, and custom development, to optimize onboarding processes.
Technical Leadership & Guidance:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
Review and approve technical designs and code.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to complex problems.
Innovation & Best Practices:
Stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow platform features, best practices, and industry trends.
Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions to enhance the ServiceNow platform and improve onboarding processes.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of ServiceNow architectural standards and best practices within the organization.
Project Management & Delivery:
Contribute to the successful delivery of ServiceNow onboarding projects by adhering to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation and ongoing support.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
7+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect or a similar senior technical role.
Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions, with a strong focus on the Onboarding module.
Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including platform components, data model, and integration capabilities.
Extensive experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript) and workflow development.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in ServiceNow development best practices, including security, performance tuning, and scalability.
Strong understanding of ITIL framework and other ITSM best practices.
Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and integration technologies (REST APIs, SOAP).
Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
