IT Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Configure and install operating systems and applications on computer hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Monitor and manage servers, networks, and computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide detailed procedural documentation, support, and reports for the deployment of new applications.
• Facilitate user onboarding and offboarding processes, offering technical assistance in person or remotely.
• Perform regular IT infrastructure maintenance, including replacing hardware components as required.
• Collaborate with team leaders to address and resolve reported issues promptly or escalate to third parties when needed.
• Develop effective working relationships with users, IT engineers, department managers, software developers, and HR teams.
• Oversee IT asset management by tagging hardware, maintaining inventory accuracy, and managing procurement processes.

Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Office 365 Cloud Services, and Windows 10/11.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Servers 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Strong technical knowledge of enterprise IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a logical approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Dutch, or German) are a bonus.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an IT environment, supported by relevant qualifications or an IT diploma.
