About the Role

AP Recruiters seeks a Sourcing Specialist V to join our client's Power Generation business unit. This role involves executing complex sourcing processes, negotiating supplier agreements, and driving cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and a proven track record of managing high-stakes contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee sourcing processes for assigned business areas.
• Analyze complex bid responses, identify commercial differences, and make supplier recommendations.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and internal business units.
• Lead contract negotiations under tight deadlines.
• Recommend and communicate sourcing strategies to leadership.
• Conduct industry analysis and monitor supplier performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities to reduce the total cost of ownership.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, legal, and environmental guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management or sourcing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
