Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team and support our operations as a commercial low voltage contractor specializing in structured cabling, fire alarm, and security integration. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring that materials and equipment are efficiently prepared and distributed for our construction projects. The ideal candidate is experienced in operating forklifts, driving trucks and trailers, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a truck and back up trailers to designated locations as needed.
• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and organize inventory in the warehouse and at job sites.
• Prepare materials and shipments to meet the needs of commercial construction projects.
• Assist with receiving shipments, verifying orders, and inspecting materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse to ensure efficient operations.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to confidently drive a truck and back up a trailer.
• Forklift operation experience is required (certification preferred).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as part of daily tasks.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or construction setting is strongly preferred.
• Nice to have: Forklift certification, OSHA 10 certification, or a passion for structured cabling, fire alarm, and security integration.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $20$24/hour (depending on experience).
• Vehicle allowance: $400/month, plus gas card for truck/SUV use.
