Accounting Executive

About the Role:

We are looking for anAccounting Executiveto support the Accounting Manager in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company. This role is ideal for candidates with1-3 years of experiencein accounting, eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) entries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
• Support tax filing, audits, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist in budget tracking and monitoring company expenditures.
• Provide support to the Accounting Manager for any ad hoc financial analysis or reporting tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the financial services or similar industry.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance in Malaysia.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
