Locum Dental Practice Manager

Our clients are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Dental Manager to join their team in Reading.

Job Overview

• Locum role
• Mixed NHS/Private Practice
• Provide leadership and management skills to enable the practice to meet its agreed aims and objectives whilst maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and probity.
• Management of team to include: Rotas, Appraisals as well as inductions
• Promoting a team environment and culture that is committed to executing a first-class service to our patients
• Oversee the recruitment and retention of staff and provide a general personnel management service
• Ensure that all staff are legally and gainfully employed. Monitor skill-mix and deployment of staff
• Maintain up-to-date HR documentation (including job descriptions, employment contracts and employment policies)
• Managing recruitment and management of staff
• Support and mentor staff, both as individuals and as team members
• Convene meetings, prepare agendas and ensure distribution of minutes as necessary
• Ensure quality for our patients through full compliance with all internal and legislative requirements (e.g. Health and Safety, CQC, Company policy)
• Promoting a team environment and culture that is committed to executing a first-class service to our patients
• Previous dental management experience.
