Software Tester

We currently have a vacancy for a Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Define test cases;
• Build test scenarios and scripts based on business analysis;
• Prepare test data;
• Coordinate and execute tests;
• Create issues related to the execution of the tests;
• Report on test results;
• Contribute to user support at Level 2;
• Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the Users.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 16 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Good knowledge of and experience with Jira and Zephyr (test management);
• Good knowledge of and experience with preparing and executing test cases;
• Good knowledge of, and experience with preparing test plans;
• Good knowledge of and experience with Agile Software Development methodology;
• Good understanding of business process analysis;
• Proven experience in translating Business Use Cases into Test cases;
• Proven experience in level 2 user support activities;
• Knowledge of and experience with Automation testing tools like Selenium;
• Good redaction skills;
• Knowledge of RDMS and SQL would be considered an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
