About the Role

The Nurse accompanies clients during travel, typically when they require medical monitoring or assistance en route, such as on a flight. The primary responsibility is to ensure the patients safety and comfort throughout the journey.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conducting pre-travel evaluations to understand the patients medical condition, needs, and any potential risks during the journey.
• Medical Monitoring: Continuously monitoring the patients vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition to ensure stability during travel.
• Administering Care: Providing necessary medical care, such as administering medications, oxygen, or other treatments required to manage the patients condition.
• Emergency Response: Being prepared to handle medical emergencies, including performing CPR or other life-saving interventions if needed.
• Comfort and Support: Ensuring the patient is comfortable, addressing their concerns, and providing emotional support throughout the journey.
• Medical Supplies and Equipment:Ensuring all medical supplies and equipment are adequate and in proper working condition for the journey.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion in matters involving patient care.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Nursing
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
• Must have vaild BCLS and AED certifications
• At least 5-8 years of relevant working experience in the related field (Accident & Emergencies Department)
• Holding a passport with at least 6 months of validity
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care
