Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to all compliance requirements for health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain health and safety reports, manage PPE inventory, and ensure proper forklift usage protocols are followed.
  • Manage all relevant reporting and documentation for compliance, ensuring all records are up to date.
  • Confirm and accurately record all delivery notes, picking lists, and collection notes in the QBIS system.

Inventory Accuracy:

  • Regularly measure and report on the percentage of inventory records that match physical counts in the QBIS system.
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Order Fulfilment Rate:

  • Track and maintain the percentage of orders that are fulfilled on time and in full within the QBIS system.
  • Identify trends and implement improvements to ensure that order fulfilment targets are consistently met.

Picking and Packing Efficiency:

  • Monitor and optimize the average time taken to pick and pack orders, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Implement strategies to improve speed and accuracy in the picking and packing process.

Staff Management:

  • Oversee the performance and development of warehouse staff, providing feedback, training, and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and assist in the development of performance improvement plans.
  • Promote a safe, productive, and team-oriented working environment.

Sourcing & Forecasting:

  • Responsible for sourcing products, working closely with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Analyze sales trends and work with the team to forecast demand and place Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) orders accordingly.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust sourcing strategies to meet demand fluctuations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems (preferably QBIS).
  • Experience in staff management and performance evaluation.
  • Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
