Accountant for Stock Broking Firm

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at a leading Stock Broking Firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a proven track record of working in the stock broking industry.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the stock broking firm

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

- Monitor and reconcile accounts, including bank statements and investment portfolios

- Prepare and file tax returns and other required financial documents

- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters

- Participate in the development of financial strategies and plans for the firm

- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting practices

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a stock broking firm

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices in the stock broking industry

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

- CPA or other relevant certifications a plus
