Overview:
We are seeking an experienced VP of Enterprise Architecture to lead and define architectural strategies, oversee enterprise solutions, and drive innovation across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess 510 years of leadership experience in enterprise architecture, including a proven track record of successful full lifecycle implementations, evaluating and integrating technologies, and managing high-performing teams.
This role requires strategic vision, strong analytical skills, and the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives. A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Technology, or a related field is required. TOGAF certification is highly preferred.
Key Leadership Responsibilities:
- Define and lead core technology strategies to meet client, associate, and organizational needs.
- Partner with senior leadership to align architectural strategies with business goals and ensure seamless execution.
- Inspire and manage a team of architects and engineers to design robust, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions.
- Develop and communicate the organizations architectural vision, emphasizing quality, performance, and security.
- Evaluate and select cutting-edge technologies while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Articulate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Architectural Strategy:
- Deliver initiatives to drive revenue and operational efficiency in alignment with business strategy.
- Maintain and update architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and strategic plans.
- Communicate architectural decisions, goals, and strategies across the organization.
- Provide direction to Enterprise, Business, and Solution Architects while fostering collaboration.
Innovation Leadership:
- Lead the Architecture practice by adopting methodologies and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Identify and implement new technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Technology Discovery:
- Research emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Evaluate technology partners to enhance business capabilities.
Business Alignment:
- Collaborate with business units during project intake to understand objectives and requirements.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
Strategic Vision:
- Align technology strategies with the broader business vision and goals.
- Develop and maintain a clear technology roadmap that reflects business priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with product management, marketing, and operations teams to align technology solutions with market needs.
- Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure system integrity and compliance.
Performance Metrics:
- Define metrics to evaluate the impact of technology initiatives on business outcomes.
- Adjust strategies based on data insights and feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with 510 years leading teams in enterprise architecture.
- Deep understanding of architectural principles and full lifecycle implementation.
- TOGAF certification strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing budgets, roadmaps, and headcounts effectively.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
