About the Role:

Are you ready to drive innovation in renewable energy? Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to support the design and execution of solar farm projects. This role focuses on creating PV layouts, managing engineering activities, and overseeing third-party contractor teams to develop permit packages. You'll work within a fast-paced early-stage project team, supporting standardized and cutting-edge system designs for sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop PV layouts using cloud-based automation tools to support project development teams.
• Manage and oversee 3rd-party engineering contractors for project permitting and design deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
• Drive innovative and standardized system designs during early-stage solar project development.
• Provide leadership in engineering processes, solving technical challenges to advance project execution.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline).
• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience; exceptions considered for advanced early-career candidates.
• Preferred experience in utility-scale solar projects or related fields, including:
  • Commercial solar (DG), wind, BESS, substation, or transmission projects.
  • Aerospace, civil/stormwater, or other complex engineering industries.
• Demonstrated experience managing internal or external engineering resources.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
