Senior Frontend Developer (React.js) - Browser Extension / FREELANCE

We are a rapidly growing startup building a powerful Browser extension that utilizes web scraping to streamline data collection and analysis for our users. We are looking for a passionate and talented Frontend Developer to join our team and help us build the next generation of our product. The Job can be performed fully remote, but within CET plus/minus 2 hours. So Europe and closely around Europe.

Tasks

Frontend Development

• Frontend Development: Build and maintain the front-end of our Browser Extension using React.js, ensuring a user-friendly and intuitive experience.
• Web Scraping: Implement web scraping techniques to extract data from target websites, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate APIs to connect our Chrome extension with backend systems, enabling seamless data flow and functionality.
• Collaboration and Feature Development: Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features, ensuring they meet user needs and product vision.

Technical Expertise

• Code Quality and Scalability: Develop and maintain robust and scalable code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the stability, functionality, and performance of the Chrome extension.
• Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Continuous Learning and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in frontend development, web scraping, and Chrome extension development.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members, including backend developers, designers, and product managers.
• Communication: Communicate progress and challenges clearly and concisely to the team and stakeholders.Teamwork and Culture: Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering open communication and creative problem-solving.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• React.js Experience: Proven experience building web applications using React.js.
• Web Development Fundamentals: Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Web Scraping Expertise: Experience with web scraping techniques and tools.

Technical Proficiency

• API Integration: Experience working with APIs and integrating them into web applications.
• Browser Extension Development: Familiarity with Chrome extension development.
• Development Best Practices: Understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.
