Your Mission as an Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring that our business functions operate seamlessly. Your mission is to maximize productivity, reduce costs, and enhance the company’s overall performance. This involves strategic planning, effective team leadership, and the execution of operational strategies that align with company’s vision and business goals.

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as an Operations Manager

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals to support growth and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team, fostering a productive environment and managing performance to drive results.
  • Resource Allocation: Oversee budgeting, staffing, and equipment distribution to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards by implementing and monitoring quality control processes for products and services.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential operational risks to ensure the stability of daily operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge performance, identifying areas for operational improvement.
  • Customer Service Oversight: Oversee customer service functions, ensuring issues are promptly resolved and customer satisfaction remains high.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as an Operations Manager

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Proven extensive experience in a similar operations management role, ideally in well services, wellheads, or completions.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, particularly in resource planning, people management, and risk mitigation.
  • Financial Acumen: Working knowledge of financial functions, including PL, cost control, and cost allocation.
  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, build morale, and ensure high productivity.

  • Location: Office (Tripoli / Benghazi) and field-based, with occasional travel to field locations as required.
