Senior Functional Safety Engineer - Sweden

They specialize in developing and designing vehicle functional safety concepts, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262, ISO 21448 (SOTIF), and AD standards like UL 4600. If you are a passionate Senior Functional Safety Engineer with expertise in ISO 26262 and a keen interest in the automotive sector, we invite you to be part of a talented and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and oversee safety test activities, driving the development of functional and technical safety concepts from system to hardware/software levels.

Lead functional safety engineering activities for product development teams, providing impact analysis and recommendations for accurate safety criteria.

Integrate Functional Safety standards and industry best practices into corporate processes in alignment with ISO 26262.

Documented experience in safety analyses at HW and SW levels, including HW/SW FMEA FTA, performing DFA, and ensuring freedom of interferences.

Proficiency in specifying hardware-software interfaces (HSI), SW/HW architecture, HW schematics, BOM list, and PMHF Metrics Calculation

Required Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of functional safety activities and deliveries according to ISO 26262.

Documented experience in safety analyses at HW and SW levels, including HW/SW FMEA FTA, performing DFA, and ensuring freedom of interferences.
