Embedded Software Product Owner - Senior Expert

Introduction: We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Product Owner to lead the development and safeguard the quality of an embedded software product platform. In this role, you will manage technical roadmaps, ensure the prioritization of functional and non-functional requirements, and govern product branch plans. As a recognized expert, you will serve as a thought leader, both within and outside the organization, driving innovation and contributing to the development of others.

This position typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience and a deep understanding of embedded software development and product management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical manager for an embedded software product, leading activities to safeguard product features and quality.
  • Lead the prioritization of software implementation, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements.
  • Develop and govern technical roadmaps for the embedded software product, focusing on both functional and non-functional aspects.
  • Oversee product branch planning, ensuring smooth governance and alignment with larger software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute software implementation strategies.
  • Contribute to the education and development of team members within the organization.
  • Leverage strong internal and external networks to stay ahead of market trends and technological advancements.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in embedded software development or product management.
  • Recognized expert in embedded software within the industry, with a track record of successful product management.
  • Strong leadership and technical management skills, with the ability to guide teams and prioritize complex requirements.
  • Proven experience in creating and managing technical roadmaps and overseeing the implementation of both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Familiarity with software governance and product branch planning.
  • Ability to mentor and educate others, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of market trends and the ability to anticipate industry shifts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate future-focused strategies and insights clearly.
