My client is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic drive systems and solutions. Serving industries such as recycling, sugar production, and material handling, headquartered  near Örnsköldsvik. 

We are currently seeking x2 Software Engineer with a focus on Automation to join one of our cross-functional product teams within the "Automation Digital Services" development department. We can accept either contract or permanent candidates for this role.

Job Description:

As a Software Engineer specializing in automation, you will be part of a cross-functional product team within the "Automation Digital Services" development department. The team is responsible for the control systems for our drive systems, meaning you will be involved in everything from concept studies and product development to the operation and maintenance of existing products.

Skills Required:

• Educational background in electronics, automation, or software engineering.
• Experience in automation or IoT (Internet of Things).
• Automation / PLC Programming experience (ideally Beckhoff)
• C ideally with some C++/C#.
• Strong knowledge of software design and methods for product development in embedded systems.
• Proficiency in both English.
• A genuine interest in product development.
• Ability to thrive in an open and multicultural environment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Personal suitability will be a key factor in the recruitment process.
