We are seeking a Mechatronic Verification Engineer to join a team and play a key role in ensuring that the mechatronic systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Role Overview: As a Mechatronic Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for verifying and validating mechatronic systems to ensure they meet our stringent quality and performance requirements. You will develop and implement test methods, analyze data, and create detailed engineering reports to support product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine test methods for evaluating mechatronic systems, including setting up test rigs and defining test parameters.
- Conduct detailed performance analysis of mechatronic systems and components, identifying issues related to functionality, reliability, and safety.
- Analyze test data using tools such as Excel and Python, creating reports and deriving insights on system performance.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering reports documenting test results, analyses, and recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in the Verification and Validation test group, ensuring that products meet specified requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and quality assurance, to address and resolve technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during testing, providing solutions to enhance product quality.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in vehicle data bus communication, including CAN (Controller Area Network) and LIN (Local Interconnect Network) protocols.
- Experience with data analysis tools, such as Excel and Python, including the ability to write scripts for automated data processing.
- Knowledge of heavy vehicle components and powertrain systems, including engines and transmissions.
- Ability to create detailed engineering reports documenting test procedures, results, and recommendations.
- Familiarity with ECU (Electronic Control Unit) applications and engine control systems is a plus.
- Prior experience in testing and development within the automotive industry is advantageous.
