Test and Integration Leader, Vehicle Software Factory

As the Integration Leader for the Vehicle Software Factory, you will be pivotal in ensuring seamless software integration across various systems and components. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and coordinate system-level integration activities, ensuring that software deliveries are executed on time and meet quality standards. You will also support software development teams in formulating test strategies and creating comprehensive verification plans, thereby enhancing the overall testing knowledge within the teams. Additionally, you will drive improvement initiatives within the testing and integration processes, collaborating with other technology streams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee system-level integration efforts, ensuring that all software components are effectively integrated and tested.
  • Work closely with software development teams to establish robust testing strategies and verification plans that align with project timelines.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within teams to enhance overall testing and integration capabilities.
  • Identify areas for improvement within testing and integration workflows, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration across various technology streams.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • A curious and proactive mindset, viewing problem-solving as an opportunity for learning and growth.
  • Extensive experience in technology/product development and product testing, with a proven track record of driving positive change within these domains.
  • Knowledge of the trucking industry is highly beneficial, with a truck driving license (C or CE) being a desirable asset.
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • An engineering degree or equivalent experience, showcasing a solid technical foundation.

Experience Level:

  • Expert: This position typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the automotive or heavy vehicle sectors, focusing on software integration and testing processes. Your leadership will be essential in driving the commitment to delivering innovative and reliable software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
