About the Role
Our client is embarking on an exciting technology transformation, focusing on developing the next generation of telematics products and services for connected vehicles. Their main product is an advanced information system embedded in vehicles that communicates with both vehicle systems and external back-office systems, enabling features like Fleet Management, Uptime services, and other connected services.

We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer with deep technical expertise to join a dynamic and passionate team. In this role, you will play a key part in building the future of vehicle connectivity platforms, contributing to their ongoing digital transformation. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with experts in the field, share knowledge, and drive innovation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in modern C++ development.
  • 7+ years of experience in product development, specifically within Telematics or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with Yocto/Open Embedded.
  • 5+ years of experience in software architecture.
  • Strong expertise in Embedded Linux, including configuration, applying patches, and debugging.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of communication protocols like MQTT.
  • Experience in REST API and Android OS.
  • Familiarity with Adaptive Autosar, concept development, and work within the automotive or telecommunications sectors.
  • Exposure to SOME/IP, CAN/CAnalyzer, security practices, SIL/HIL testing, and agile principles is highly valued.

As the role is onsite in Gothenburg, the client will only consider candidates currently eligible to work in Sweden
