System Administrator

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with  an award-winning multi-licensed, broker who offers online CFD trading on FX, crypto, oil, metals, shares, and indices and seeking to onboard System Administrator to join their team in Limassol. 

Position: System Administrator

Location: Limassol, Cyprus 

Work model: on-site

Employment type: Full-time 

Remuneration: base salary. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems as needed
• Manage and oversee network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Ensure data backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and functional
• Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex technical challenges
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users
• Report and document any unusual events or security incidents
• Develop and maintain system documentation
• Train and offer guidance to end-users on IT systems, software, and applications
• Participate in IT projects aimed at improving system efficiency, performance, and overall business productivity.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
• A professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) will be considered as an advantage
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD), Entra, Intune, AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, VoIP, and FortiGate technologies
• Strong knowledge of MT4/MT5 trading platforms
• Solid understanding of network security practices and antivirus software
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems and platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
