Become a Warehouse Whirlwind at Victorian Plumbing: Warehouse Process Trainer!
Do you have a passion for seeing the cogs turn and the pipes flowing freely in a well-oiled warehouse machine?
Are you a born explainer, ready to transform new recruits into bathroom product whizzes? Then step up to the throne (figuratively speaking) as our Warehouse Process Trainer!
We're looking for individuals to join our team in the following shifts:
- Thursday-Sunday Shift: A unique opportunity to support both day and weekend operations.
- Day Shift (Rotating): Flexibility is key, as you may need to adapt to different shifts as required.
- Night Shifts: We're seeking two dedicated individuals to cover the following:
- Sunday-Wednesday
- Wednesday-Saturday
In this key role, you'll be a knowledge powerhouse, ensuring our warehouse runs smoother than a power shower. You'll design, develop, and deliver top-notch training programs, equipping new and existing staff with the skills to excel in tasks like:
- Receiving: Making sure our vast stock of baths, showers, and basins arrive ship-shape.
- Put Away: Stocking our shelves with pinpoint precision, no leaks allowed!
- Picking Packing: Creating the perfect order fulfillment symphony - no more mistaking a bidet for a bath!
- Shipping: Ensuring our customer's bathroom dreams are delivered on time, every time.
- Inventory Control: Keeping track of our stock with hawk-like vigilance - no more stockouts or overstocks.
But that's not all! You'll also:
- Induct new recruits into the warehouse: Welcome new team members and guide them through the onboarding process, ensuring they have a smooth transition and understand the essential procedures and protocols from the outset.
- Become a trusted advisor and mentor, helping staff develop their skills and become invaluable assets.
- Maintain training materials, keeping them as fresh as a newly sparkling new bathroom tile.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to ensure our training is fit for a king (or queen!).
- Cultivate a positive and engaging learning environment, where everyone's encouraged to keep learning and growing.
To qualify for this throne-worthy role, you'll need:
- Experience in a warehouse setting, ideally with a supervisory or training background.
- A deep understanding of warehouse operations - receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control - you'll be the master of stock management, ensuring smooth operations and efficient inventory control.
- Communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills that would make a skilled orator envious, able to captivate audiences and convey information clearly and persuasively.
- A natural talent for crafting engaging and interactive training programs that cater to all learning styles - no one gets left behind! You'll have a knack for tailoring your approach to different individuals, ensuring that everyone feels included and motivated to learn.
- Patience and a passion for coaching and mentoring others - you'll be the master sculptor of warehouse skills, shaping and refining talent to create a team of highly skilled and motivated individuals.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to safety - keeping our workplace accident-free is paramount.
- Stellar organizational and time management skills - juggling training programs is a breeze for you!
Bonus points for:
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) - you'll be a tech-savvy throne master!
- Forklift certification (counterbalance, reach truck) - you'll be unstoppable!
So, if you're ready to step up and become a leader in our warehouse, apply now! We offer a competitive package and a chance to be part of a growing and dynamic company. At Victorian Plumbing, we don't just sell bathrooms, we create happy places... and careers!
