(Junior/ Mid) IT-Network Administrator

Job Overview

As a Junior/Mid-Level IT-Network Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of network infrastructures. This position involves working on networking projects, handling client requirements, and administering network security, monitoring, and support systems. You’ll work with various technologies, handling routing, switching, firewall configurations, and wireless LAN setups, and will be part of a team that values innovation, flexibility, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for IT networking services, both in project phases and ongoing service.
  • Manage the implementation and administration of networking projects, ensuring client requirements are met.
  • Develop technical documentation to support project and service activities.
  • Handle network security operations to ensure infrastructure safety.
  • Oversee monitoring systems for network infrastructure, handling service requests via the ticketing system.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with network infrastructures (firewalling, routing, switching).
  • Knowledge in Wireless LAN, Network Management, and Network Analysis.
  • Familiarity with QoS, 802.1X standards, and dynamic routing protocols.
  • Experience in Firewall configurations and network security.
  • Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong customer service orientation and willingness to travel sporadically.
  • Fluent in German (C1).
  • Valid German driver’s license (Class B).
