Job Overview

As the Head of IT, you will lead the IT infrastructure strategy and development for a healthcare-focused startup, playing a pivotal role in transforming digital healthcare. With a focus on building robust and secure IT systems, you will drive strategic and hands-on IT initiatives while ensuring that security and compliance requirements are met. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for modernizing healthcare IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and evolve IT infrastructure across multiple locations, including the head office, clinical practices, and affiliated clinics.
• Oversee IT security, ensuring that systems comply with regulatory requirements and security best practices in collaboration with the regulatory team.
• Build and manage an IT team, including internal and external resources, to support reliable IT infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate with development teams to aid in the delivery of digital healthcare products and services.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years in managing complex IT infrastructures, with strong experience in Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and network management.
• Hands-on experience in deploying and optimizing IT systems and security solutions.
• Proficient in information security, specifically ISO 27001, with a proven record of implementing IT security solutions.
• Knowledge in Veeam, Intune, and various security tools.
• Fluent German (C1) and English (C1).
• Motivation to innovate within healthcare and ideally some experience in a clinical or practice-based IT environment.
